by us in Belgium it was then 22h30 and i was sleeping for that fucking school stuff and my dady came in my room and wake me up with my tv on CNN and tell me about it and we follow the opperation live it was something i never forgot!!!

actually it is a lot more easy to ditch a plane in a river in the middle of a town/city instead of in the middle of the ocean with waves that get WAY higher and no one to be able to save you for hours!

I have seen aircraft ditch in the water and it's no easy feat! Capt. Sullenberger put that plane down as neat as a pin and saved the life of all aboard. There is an old John Wayne movie called "The High and the Mighty" It's theme song (by Dimitri Tiomkin) Should be played whenever the Capt. makes a public appearance. You can hear the tune on you tube. I hope they do a remake of the movie but put the Capt. in the John wayne role.

il bet no one died in that air accident... it was in america right? i thought so. if that was anywhere else, that plane would have been completely submerged and half or most of the passengers would have died.
